In a few weeks time Mark Milnthorpe, the father of Mojo co-founder Joe Milnthorpe, is cycling with another three friends from Cirencester to Rome in just 14 days. That's 100 miles a day! Even through the mountains of the French apes.
Pictured: Mark Milnthorpe (This sadly won't be the bike he will be riding).
Mark is doing this to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Although he is doing this epic adventure with three mates, they will be completely self supporting. Therefore having to carry everything they need for two weeks on them at all times.
While this will be a huge personal challenge for all four men, it doesn't come near to the challenges and decisions needed to face and overcome breast cancer and it's treatment. Therefore we invite you to show your support in this fantastic accomplishment and help him smash his target of £2000.
This will be their route
We will also be giving 10% of every online order towards the charity leading up to the cycle. So please help Mark and his team out and donate here.
A couple of months ago, we were asked to create a ski suit for the Oxbridge Varsity ski trip committee, with the intention to send the toy into outer space.
Of course we obliged... this is the outcome!
Who'd have thought, a toy marmot could make it over 100,000 feet! We look forward to a long future working alongside the Varsity trip committee.
End of season retro ski party at Embargo's Chelsea.
Sadly the winter season has finally come to the end... For one night only Embargos will be transformed into the raddest retro ski sensation since the 90’s. In calibration with Ski4Cancer, with profits from our sales going towards their great charity.
Ski 4 Cancer was set up by a group of skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts who have either recovered from cancer, or have lost a friend or close relative to cancer.
Ski 4 Cancer provides alpine based respite days and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. They also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of sport (e.g. skiing) and how it can help both prevent cancer and assist in recovery post diagnosis.
So put on your most colourful gear and party like its the first night of the season!
It's sadly that time of year again, the snow is turning into slush, the end of season blue's are upon us and everyone's bank accounts are at a low point.

Questionably ski and snowboardings most outrageous event continues to day 4 today. the past few days it has been off the chain! With 35m kickers to a 60m high by 11m wide table, there is never a dull moment. Check out the preview of the course below.
With not a cloud in sight for miles and warmer temperatures on Mottolino Fun Mountain, in Livigno, Day Three of the Suzuki Nine Knights was destined to be one for the books. As the snow softened thanks to the sunshine, some riders began mastering the biggest kicker, while others were boosting out of the hip, stomping tricks off the cannon rail, and launching over the huge axe on the O’Neill feature.

Of the many standout performances this afternoon, skier Oystein Braaten’s (SWE) redirect from the kicker take-off onto the quarter-pipe landing definitely impressed all fellow skiers and snowboarders, starting the trend of riders trying that line. Stoked on his line, Oystein explained, “I’ve never done anything like that before so it was sick to be able to try that out here. It worked out super well.”

Meanwhile, the Belgian snowboarding duo of Sebbe de Buck and Seppe Smits were pulling out all of the stops on the hip/mini ramp feature with Sebbe’s smooth and stylish handplants on the wallride, and Seppe’s massive back flip michaelchuks from the step up to wallride.
By the time the sun began setting, the riders were so comfortable with the features and their various lines, that they hardly wanted to get off the mountain. During this session, Halldór Helgason launched off the side of the cannon rail, sending a slow and styled backside 540 off his toes, on the kicker landing. Not to be outdone, skiers Fabian Bösch (SUI) and Christof Schenk (ITA) sent absolutely massive simultaneous double back flips off the biggest kicker, as the sun set over the gorgeous Livigno valley.

As the level continues to progress with each passing day, it’s impossible to imagine where these talented riders will take their riding on “Il Castello”. We’ll just have to see in the next few days as the skiers and snowboarders continue to send it during the night shoot, the heli-shoot, and during the contest day.
